Stock Associate

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and accurately maintain inventory records
• Scan shipments as delivered and ticket merchandise for the stockroom or sales floor
• Organize the stockroom by department and category to ensure items are easily located
• Assist the sales team with floor replenishment and customer delivery preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized stockroom, including sweeping and garbage removal
• Transport merchandise to and from remote stockroom locations
• Comply with all company policies and procedures to minimize inventory loss

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 years of customer service or stockroom experience preferred
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 lbs using appropriate safety techniques
• Ability to operate and read scanning equipment for extended periods
• Effective time management skills to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor or in the stockroom for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic product knowledge
• Experience in a retail or warehouse environment
