STIHL Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair STIHL outdoor power equipment including chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and battery-powered tools
• Assemble and prepare new equipment for customer pickup or sale
• Complete warranty claims and maintain accurate repair documentation
• Communicate repair timelines and maintenance recommendations clearly to customers
• Ensure all serviced equipment meets safety and operational standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient service workspace
• Participate in ongoing STIHL factory training and certification opportunities

Requirements

• Proven small engine repair knowledge or strong mechanical aptitude
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to explain technical repairs in customer-friendly language

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working specifically with STIHL outdoor power equipment
• Existing STIHL certifications
