About the role
Responsibilities
- Clean and stack all dishes, flatware, silver, glass, and kitchen trays
- Set up and maintain the dish machine and cleaning area
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including kitchen equipment, storage areas, and floors
- Assist with food preparation according to chef specifications
- Assist with the storage of food deliveries
- Disassemble and clean the dishwasher at the end of shifts
- Report equipment or product issues to the Executive Steward
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
- ServSafe or similar food safety certification preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, crouch, or kneel for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to ski or ride at an intermediate level (for specific locations)
