Steward Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the stewarding department to assist kitchen and food & beverage teams
• Proactively improve guest satisfaction and resolve enquiries in a timely manner
• Supervise the stewarding team to foster growth, development, and high performance
• Control costs, inventory, productivity, and performance levels
• Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders
• Manage planned deep cleaning and preventative maintenance programmes to ensure high cleanliness standards
• Ensure compliance with all legislation and due diligence requirements for internal and external audits

Requirements

• Experience in stewarding
• Strong supervisory skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and passion for hospitality
• Proven problem-solving capabilities and creative solution finding
• Ability to work in a high-energy environment demanding excellence
• Experience working with various IT systems
• Strong communication skills
