Steward

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals
• Support chefs with basic kitchen tasks, setup, and closing procedures
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling guidelines are followed
• Assist in receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Steward or in a similar role preferred
• Strong understanding of hygiene and safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
• Team-oriented, reliable, and willing to learn
