Responsibilities

• Scrape, stack, and clean all dishes properly
• Store dishes and silver in designated locations
• Set up cleaning area including dish machine assembly and water tank filling
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen walls, floors, and loading docks
• Disassemble and clean dishwasher at the end of shifts
• Post caution signs for wet floors to ensure safety
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly condition

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months to 1 year of back of house experience preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, crouch, or kneel for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in wet, hot, and humid conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment
• Familiarity with basic industry terminology
