Stevedore

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and store cargo from arriving vessels
• Operate heavy machinery, fixed equipment, and other appropriate tools
• Maintain work areas and equipment, including snow removal, de-icing, and decontamination
• Follow safety procedures and adapt to changing environmental conditions

Requirements

• Availability for on-call work with variable schedules
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day, evening, night, weekend)
• Physical stamina for manual outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Strong commitment to occupational health and safety
• Team spirit, versatility, and proactivity
• Operator experience is considered an asset
