Sterling Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions using IBM Sterling B2B tools to drive digital innovation.
• Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance through industry-aligned programming practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and ensure seamless integration with business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
• Implement effective unit testing to ensure code design, readability, and reliability.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway, including Sterling Integrator, Sterling Secure Proxy, Perimeter Servers, and Sterling Control Centre.
• Proficiency in Oracle or SQL Database management.
• Strong expertise in Business Process development and Map development.
• Deep knowledge of file transfer protocols such as FTP, SFTP, and Connect:Direct.
• Understanding of certificate management, including TLS, SSL, and OCSP.
• Experience working within Unix or Linux operating systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps implementation and identifying automation opportunities.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, JIRA, and Confluence.
