Sterling Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies to validate software functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Implement automated test scripts using various frameworks to facilitate early defect detection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and develop acceptance criteria.
• Perform root cause analysis for identified defects and work closely with developers to support resolution.
• Support the delivery of location strategy projects using IBM Sterling technologies while adhering to quality and governance standards.
• Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with IBM Sterling technologies, including Sterling Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, Perimeter Servers, and Sterling Control Centre.
• Proficiency in Oracle or SQL Database management.
• Strong expertise in Business Process development and Map development.
• Deep knowledge of file transfer protocols such as FTP, SFTP, and Connect:Direct.
• Understanding of certificate management, including TLS, SSL, and OCSP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within Unix or Linux operating systems.
• Practical experience with DevOps implementation and identifying automation opportunities.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, JIRA, and Confluence.
