Sterilization Technician

Responsibilities

• Learn and practice basic aseptic procedures and comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Load and unload various autoclaves and incoming materials from the warehouse safely.
• Assist with reading and reporting test results using scientific instruments.
• Complete essential documentation including process worksheets, reports, and log sheets.
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure adequate supplies are available in the production area.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all safety protocols, including PPE and MSDS guidelines.
• Operate electric material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks as required.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use a personal computer.
• Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and metric conversions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, squatting, and reaching.
• Ability to work 2nd shift (2:00pm – 10:30pm) and flexibility for overtime, weekends, or holidays.
