Sterilization Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate the sterilization process and ancillary equipment
• Move material through all steps of the sterilization process
• Document all steps in accordance with established procedures using JD Edwards and Mfg Pro
• Perform backup Team Leader responsibilities as required
• Maintain plant facilities and equipment through user-level preventative maintenance
• Supervise chemical inventory of nitrogen and ethylene oxide
• Connect and disconnect hazardous chemicals to process equipment
• Assist with monthly departmental performance reports

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to operate material handling equipment
• Proficiency with personal computers
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and workflow
• Ability to work in hot, humid, or loud environments
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical or college education
• 2 to 4 years of experience in equipment operation and inventory management
