Sterilization Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments
• Operate and maintain sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, and other reprocessing equipment
• Monitor sterilization cycles and maintain accurate logs and documentation
• Assemble, organize, and prepare surgical trays and materials
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of surgical rooms
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and infection control standards
• Maintain inventory of surgical instruments, supplies, and sterilization materials

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Previous experience in dental, oral surgery, medical, or sterile processing environment preferred
• Experience with sterilization processes and autoclave operation strongly preferred
• Familiarity with OSHA and infection control protocols
• Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
