Sterile Processing Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage medical supply and equipment inventory by pulling and replenishing stock
• Monitor expiration dates and critical supplies using barcode-based activities
• Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming supplies
• Prepare specialty carts and distribute supplies to patient care areas
• Track supply usage and coordinate orders or returns with vendors
• Follow aseptic, safety, sanitation, and regulatory practices

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current HSPA or CBSPD certification
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with medical supply inventory management and distribution
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 15 pounds
• U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident status
• Ability to obtain and maintain VA Public Trust clearance
