Step Squad Project Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead a structured performance program to introduce beginner dancers to the art of stepping
• Teach fundamental mechanics of synchronization, vocal projection, and rhythmic accuracy
• Prepare students for a High Energy Step Exhibition featuring a memorized routine
• Meet with students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:25pm-3:25pm from September to late May
• Participate in occasional after-school school events and activities

Requirements

• Experience participating in or leading a successful Step Squad
• Ability to teach on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:25pm-3:25pm
• Demonstrated commitment to supporting students' social emotional and academic development
• Ability to work as a self-directed learner and implement feedback
