Requirements

Master’s Degree completed by August 1, 2026, Ohio Licensed School Counselor or able to obtain alternative license, Excellent written and communication skills

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual meetings with students and parents to support academic and personal growth
  • Prepare and deliver classroom lessons based on identified student needs
  • Plan and lead small group counseling sessions
  • Serve as a consultant to teachers and other staff members
  • Support administrators with the organization and administration of state and other standardized testing
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with middle and high school counselors to evaluate the K-12 counseling program

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree completed by August 1, 2026
  • Ohio Licensed School Counselor or ability to obtain an alternative license by August 1, 2026
  • Excellent written and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience as an elementary school counselor
