Requirements
Master’s Degree completed by August 1, 2026, Ohio Licensed School Counselor or able to obtain alternative license, Excellent written and communication skills
About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual meetings with students and parents to support academic and personal growth
- Prepare and deliver classroom lessons based on identified student needs
- Plan and lead small group counseling sessions
- Serve as a consultant to teachers and other staff members
- Support administrators with the organization and administration of state and other standardized testing
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with middle and high school counselors to evaluate the K-12 counseling program
Requirements
- Master’s Degree completed by August 1, 2026
- Ohio Licensed School Counselor or ability to obtain an alternative license by August 1, 2026
- Excellent written and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience as an elementary school counselor
