Steelwork Site Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise steelwork (metal structures, supports, assembly) and piping works
• Ensure field supervision, including site organization, work compliance, safety, and schedule adherence
• Coordinate works in conjunction with technical specialists
• Guarantee subcontractor compliance with safety instructions, prevention plans, and risk analyses
• Review execution studies, technical documents, and specifications for metal structures and piping networks
• Lead and participate in risk analyses and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) initiatives
• Facilitate site meetings and draft associated reports
• Monitor and validate material supplies (structures, reinforcement, bolts, piping, etc.)
• Act as the primary site contact for clients and contractors to manage unforeseen issues, costs, and deadlines
• Report to project managers and site teams
• Analyze and manage modifications, discrepancies, and non-conformities
• Monitor costs and schedules
• Perform work receptions for steel and piping to verify compliance and clear reservations

Requirements

• Bac+2 degree in metal structures, metal construction, civil engineering, general installation, piping, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience supervising steelwork and piping or metal structures in an industrial environment
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and MASE quality procedures
• Strong team spirit and ability to work collaboratively
