Patriot Erectors is a full-service, AISC Certified Steel Fabricator and AISC Advanced Steel Erector. Founded in 1991, the company is located just west of Austin, Texas, with a modern 60,000-square-foot fabrication facility. Patriot strives to provide exceptional customer service to fabricate and erect structural steel facilities and non-building steel structures, focusing on quality, safety, and immense pride in every project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate steel detailing activities to ensure drawings and plans meet project specifications and schedules
• Serve as a liaison between internal project managers and subcontractors
• Review subcontracted drawings for accuracy and compliance with industry and company standards
• Oversee the submittal and approval process with customers
• Manage and track revisions, storing record copies within company systems
• Maintain organized records of all communications, submittals, and approvals
• Prepare project status reports regarding issues or delays for management

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural steel and miscellaneous detailing
• At least 5 years of experience in project coordination within construction, manufacturing, or engineering
• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Advance Steel, Tekla, Revit, or similar detailing software
