STEAMery Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of The STEAMery, including food and beverage preparation and service
• Train, lead, and provide work direction to student employees
• Develop and maintain creative drink menus and daily food specials
• Monitor food supplies, prepare orders, and maintain quality standards
• Manage cash and charge transactions accurately
• Ensure strict adherence to sanitation, health, and safety standards
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean work area
• Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Dining Service on staff scheduling and workflow

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for leading a team
• Proficiency in cash management and accurate transaction handling
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to health and safety protocols
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Flexibility to work modified hours for special events

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a food service environment
