STEAM Primary Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for diverse learners, including EAL and gifted students
• Integrate technology and innovative approaches to enhance student engagement
• Assess and communicate student progress effectively using data to inform personalized support
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and refine IB-aligned curriculum plans and assessments
• Contribute to the wider school community through co-curricular activities and events
• Build positive relationships with parents to support student wellbeing

Requirements

• Certified professional teaching qualification at degree level (B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience teaching Primary STEAM
• Passion for inspiring young learners through innovative, inquiry-based teaching
• Ability to work within a collaborative, forward-thinking international community

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within an IB Curriculum school
• Experience teaching the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
