Statutory CoE Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of statutory accounts for assigned entities, including preparation, review, and finalization.
• Execute statutory audits and act as the primary finance contact for external auditors and service providers.
• Coordinate statutory deliverables and audit requests to ensure quality, completeness, and timeliness.
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements, supporting schedules, and documentation.
• Maintain statutory accounting positions and escalate technical or audit issues as required.
• Operate statutory governance and control processes, including SOX or equivalent controls.
• Liaise with GFS, local finance teams, and corporate functions to ensure data accuracy.
• Support process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives within the CoE.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• ACA / ACCA qualified or actively studying.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in statutory reporting, financial accounting, or external audit.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing statutory accounts preparation and audit delivery.
• Strong understanding of statutory accounting requirements and audit processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and a robust documentation and control mindset.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
