About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing solutions and processes for new and service stator builds in partnership with Design Engineering.
- Create, document, and maintain detailed work instructions and provide training to the hourly workforce.
- Lead supplier qualification efforts, including PFMEA, IPPQ, and first article inspections, involving domestic and international collaboration.
- Design and procure tooling using 3D CAD and interface with vendors to support assembly processes.
- Provide hands-on manufacturing support, including troubleshooting, failure analysis, and leading RCA/CAPA using tools like 5 Whys and 8D.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence through LEAN, 5S, and cycle-time reduction initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related manufacturing equivalent.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing-related field.
- Working knowledge of various manufacturing processes, specifically metal joining and brazing.
- Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 3D modeling software such as NX or Mastercam.
