About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble pressure plates and process all aspects of manufacturing service generator cores
- Perform fitting and assembly operations to build complete cores, including torquing and tensioning bolts per drawings
- Set up and operate robots, and perform cleaning and detailing of cores
- Utilize various tools and equipment for generator core assembly
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate – Silver Status required
- Proficiency with shop tools such as grinders, sanders, drills, ratchets, and wrenches
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment and perform basic math
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to be fit to wear a respirator and obtain fork truck and crane licenses
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of industrial-mechanical experience
