Stator Core Builder

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble pressure plates and process all aspects of manufacturing service generator cores
• Perform fitting and assembly operations to build complete cores, including torquing and tensioning bolts per drawings
• Set up and operate robots, and perform cleaning and detailing of cores
• Utilize various tools and equipment for generator core assembly

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate – Silver Status required
• Proficiency with shop tools such as grinders, sanders, drills, ratchets, and wrenches
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment and perform basic math
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to be fit to wear a respirator and obtain fork truck and crane licenses

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial-mechanical experience
