About the role
Responsibilities
- Optimize data pipelines that integrate comprehensive data sources to enable regular updating of data
- Manage, maintain, and clean large datasets for input into statistical analyses
- Contribute to study design and develop statistical models for HPAIV risk monitoring based on genomics outputs
- Create, maintain, and improve R Shiny and Power BI-based data visualization dashboards
- Document pipeline development methods and procedures in code using version control
- Liaise with internal and external project team members to enable data sharing
- Prepare presentations and contribute to manuscripts for peer review
Requirements
- Post-graduate degree in Statistics
- Minimum of two years of related experience in research analysis
- Proficiency in Python and R
- Experience with R Shiny and Power BI
- Experience working with large medical, health-related, or epidemiological datasets
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Epidemiology
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in analyzing and evaluating complex data
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
