Statistical Analyst

Responsibilities

• Optimize data pipelines that integrate comprehensive data sources to enable regular updating of data
• Manage, maintain, and clean large datasets for input into statistical analyses
• Contribute to study design and develop statistical models for HPAIV risk monitoring based on genomics outputs
• Create, maintain, and improve R Shiny and Power BI-based data visualization dashboards
• Document pipeline development methods and procedures in code using version control
• Liaise with internal and external project team members to enable data sharing
• Prepare presentations and contribute to manuscripts for peer review

Requirements

• Post-graduate degree in Statistics
• Minimum of two years of related experience in research analysis
• Proficiency in Python and R
• Experience with R Shiny and Power BI
• Experience working with large medical, health-related, or epidemiological datasets

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Epidemiology
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in analyzing and evaluating complex data
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
