About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, install, and repair boilers, heating pumps, valves, and steam distribution lines
- Maintain refrigerant compressors, condensers, evaporators, and air conditioning systems
- Manage air compressors, gas distribution lines, and water filtration systems
- Maintain electrical motors, engines, and data center specific HVAC and electrical systems (PDUs, CRAC, UPS)
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Maintain building automation systems, sanitary sewer systems, and life safety equipment
- Maintain trash compactors, kitchen equipment, and mail conveyor systems
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience
- EPA refrigerant certification
- High Rise Fire Safety certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights up to 50 feet
Preferred Qualifications
- Local 39 Apprenticeship program completion
- Fire Pump license
- Specific equipment licensing per job location
