About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, install, and repair boilers, heating pumps, valves, and steam distribution lines
  • Maintain refrigerant compressors, condensers, evaporators, and air conditioning systems
  • Manage air compressors, gas distribution lines, and water filtration systems
  • Maintain electrical motors, engines, and data center specific HVAC and electrical systems (PDUs, CRAC, UPS)
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair
  • Maintain building automation systems, sanitary sewer systems, and life safety equipment
  • Maintain trash compactors, kitchen equipment, and mail conveyor systems

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience
  • EPA refrigerant certification
  • High Rise Fire Safety certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights up to 50 feet

Preferred Qualifications

  • Local 39 Apprenticeship program completion
  • Fire Pump license
  • Specific equipment licensing per job location
