Stationary Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fabrication, and use of cutting torches according to plant blueprints
• Execute electrical installations including motors, conduit, and wiring to code
• Operate and maintain boilers, including feed water tests and TDS level management
• Maintain refrigeration systems, including head pressures and ammonia oil drainage
• Conduct machinery repairs using hand tools and shop equipment like drill presses and grinders
• Maintain food safety and quality standards through sanitary work practices and SQF compliance
• Maintain records, logs, and preventive maintenance programs

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing
• Prior experience in industrial maintenance
• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel)
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to work at heights up to 100 feet
• Ability to tolerate cold environments (coolers and warehouses)
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs
