Station Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble DFR stations using advanced electronics, electromechanical assemblies, harnessing, and sheet metal components
• Fabricate components using schematics, diagrams, and written instructions
• Perform precision soldering, wire/cable splicing, and cable installation
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure all builds meet stringent specifications
• Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, testing results, and repairs
• Travel to customer sites (approximately 50% travel) to perform on-site hardware and software maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or repair, specifically with complex electromechanical assemblies
• Proficiency with soldering, cable splicing, and the use of hand, power, and diagnostic tools
• Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and work instructions
• Experience performing product repairs on-site with customers
• Ability to lift up to 49lbs and stand or sit for extended periods
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time to support customer needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in avionics, electronics, or a related field
• Experience manufacturing UAV/UAS systems or infrastructure for commercial, industrial, or defense applications
• Experience working with networking equipment
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and documentation
