About the role
Responsibilities
- Grow state group membership by teaching members how to invite friends and family
- Clear the moderation queue by approving or declining pending posts and member requests
- Monitor comments and posts to ensure compliance with group rules and Facebook Community Standards
- Support the Activist team in promoting local and national events
- Encourage member engagement by sharing news, state political information, and commenting appropriately on posts
Requirements
- Outgoing, dynamic, and uplifting leadership style
- Comfortable using Zoom, Slack, Facebook, and other social media platforms
- Access to a computer with reliable internet
- Flexible schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in campaigning or event organizing
- Passion for creating change in community organizing, public support, law and public policy, or government
