Stamping Repair Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Own the scheduling and tracking of preventative maintenance (PM) for stamping machines and peripheral equipment
• Perform PMs on stamping presses and coordinate repairs for unscheduled equipment breakdowns
• Conduct basic electrical diagnostics and establish contact with machine manufacturers for repair resources
• Initiate and own continuous improvement projects for machine performance and line optimization
• Maintain organized file histories for each asset to ensure accurate maintenance records
• Assist with basic die set-ups and material lace-ups as needed
• Operate forklifts to support maintenance activities

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing technical support position
• Proven experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and prints
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist
• Experience with forklift operation
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize daily activities

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Journeyman Toolmaker certification
• Energized Electrical Work Permit
