About the role

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute strategic communication and engagement plans for high-impact Generation projects, focusing on impacted landowners and communities.
  • Develop project-level talking points for internal stakeholders to ensure statewide messaging consistency.
  • Translate technical project details into clear, compelling messages for both internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including Project Managers and technical experts, to support project goals.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns via project inboxes and phone lines with a service-oriented approach.
  • Monitor project milestones and coordinate the development and delivery of communication collateral.
  • Track engagement activities in various systems for accountability and reporting.
  • Support storm duty, which may include after-hours or weekend work and supporting Storm Center communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, or project coordination.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role involving customer service and conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Willingness and ability to travel for field visits and after-hours community meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience within the utility or Generation sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations to leadership and internal teams.
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret technical information for non-technical audiences.
