Stakeholder Coordination Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between Nova and Abu Dhabi government authorities, municipalities, and utility providers
• Manage end-to-end application, tracking, and issuance of permits, licenses, and NOCs
• Coordinate with design consultants to incorporate stakeholder feedback into design development
• Ensure project compliance with Abu Dhabi building codes, municipal regulations, and Estidama requirements
• Maintain accurate records of all submissions, approvals, and authority interactions
• Support resolution of site-related authority issues during construction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the UAE construction sector
• Proven track record in authority liaison and permit management within Abu Dhabi
• In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi building codes and NOC procedures
• Experience coordinating with DMT, ADCD, TAQA Distribution, EAD, and Abu Dhabi Mobility
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Abu Dhabi regulatory bodies
• Valid UAE driving license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a main contractor on Design & Build projects in Abu Dhabi
• Membership of the Society of Engineers – UAE
• Familiarity with authority e-submission portals
