Stage Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of live show performances in the Walt Disney Theater and ship-wide venues
• Call technical show cues including automation, audio, moving lights, pyrotechnics, and flying systems
• Collaborate with Senior Technicians to ensure stage, equipment, and venue safety
• Maintain communication with the Company Performance Manager regarding cast and rehearsals
• Schedule and run all rehearsals and produce rehearsal notes
• Create and maintain production paperwork and contingency calling scripts
• Act as onboard trainer and administrator for regulatory training involving technicians and performers
• Support Entertainment Technical Team with load ins/outs, new show installs, and company events

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in a technical stage manager role within theatrical operations
• Experience working with an international cast on large-scale musical theatre productions
• Experience with entertainment technical systems including Audio Visual, Projections, and Stage Automation
• Previous experience with body harnesses and stunt rigging equipment
• Ability to live and work onboard a vessel in a multicultural environment
• Valid passport and ability to obtain a C1/D Seaman's visa

Preferred Qualifications

• College Degree or Trade School Diploma in Stage Management, Technical Theater, or a related field
