Staff/Sr. Staff Wi-Fi Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware for cutting-edge ULP wireless solutions
• Lead the 802.11 MAC layer feature design and development of homegrown SoCs
• Collaborate with a worldwide team to deliver high-quality end-to-end ecosystem solutions

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science
• 5-10 years of experience in embedded firmware development
• Extensive experience with wireless products (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Zigbee)
• Deep understanding of IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be MAC and PHY specifications
• Extensive C coding experience
• Experience with RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems)
• Proven track record of delivering products and features on schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior WMAC firmware development experience
• Knowledge of Python
• Understanding of multi-threaded embedded system concepts
• Working knowledge of networking stacks (Ethernet, TCP/IP suite)
• Experience with GIT and JIRA
• Knowledge of low power design and resource optimization algorithms
