Staff/Senior Robotics Software Engineer - Simulation

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-fidelity simulation environments incorporating realistic physics, sensor models, and environmental interactions
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using modern software engineering practices
• Develop and maintain interfaces for digital twin integration to facilitate seamless transfer between simulation and real robots
• Design and execute simulation-based tests to evaluate robotic algorithms and control systems
• Analyze simulation data to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with manipulation, locomotion, VLA, Reasoning Design, Hardware, and Control teams
• Stay informed on current trends in the simulation field

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in robotics simulation and software development
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, and ROS / ROS Control
• Experience with MuJoCo or Isaac Sim
• Knowledge of robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control
• Experience with Docker
• Familiarity with imitation learning, VLA models, and Computer Vision techniques
• Degree (B.Sc., Master's, or Ph.D.) in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based simulation and distributed computing
