Staff/Senior Data Scientist, Analytics (Payments)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement rigorous frontend experiments to improve the payment product experience and success rates
• Identify and quantify opportunities to grow the payments product and drive roadmaps with data insights
• Translate open-ended business problems into clearly defined data science initiatives
• Build scalable measurement frameworks and strategic north star metrics to inform product strategy
• Communicate data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Mentor and coach junior data scientists and act as a technical owner on cross-functional initiatives

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry experience
• Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics
• Proven expertise in experimentation and causal inference to drive product decisions
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or R
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence product strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a quantitative discipline
• Experience with data modeling
• Background in technology, financial services, or high-growth environments
