Staff/Principal Capital Supplier Manager

Responsibilities

• Own and define global category strategies for capital equipment, including Etch, Wet Process, CMP, Deposition, and Metrology.
• Lead market intelligence efforts, including supplier landscape mapping, technology roadmaps, and pricing models.
• Act as the primary commercial lead for strategic capital suppliers, managing executive-level reviews and escalation governance.
• Lead high-stakes, multi-year global negotiations regarding tool pricing, framework agreements, and lifecycle cost structures.
• Apply should-cost, total cost of ownership (TCO), and global benchmarking models to drive multi-year savings roadmaps.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Planning, and Finance to influence sourcing strategies and technology readiness.
• Serve as a Principal Individual Contributor, mentoring Staff and Senior CSMs on negotiation strategy and market intelligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
• 5+ years of experience in Capital Procurement, Engineering, or Category Management.
• Deep domain expertise in capital equipment economics and supplier behavior.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex global negotiations and category strategies.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage SVP and CEO-level supplier leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the semiconductor industry.
• Proven track record in managing high-value capital expenditure (Capex) portfolios.
