About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate general nursing needs including sourcing, scheduling, and facilitating placement communication
- Manage onboarding processes such as IT requests, EPIC training, and API coordination
- Verify credentialing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and NM DOH screening
- Document and track staffing needs, requests, and placements accurately
- Complete nursing time care, billing, and invoicing in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records, work schedules, and statistical reports using computer systems
- Communicate staffing issues and performance concerns to appropriate management personnel
- Perform various clerical duties including answering telephones, filing, and mail distribution
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of healthcare administrative experience (e.g., senior secretary, staffing coordinator, or billing/invoicing)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
