Staff Wireless IC Digital Designer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of RF/wireless design for medical, energy, and embedded security ICs
• Support the development of product requirements, specifications, and SoC architectures to meet PPA requirements
• Author RFIC system architectures and perform RTL design for block-level IP and integration
• Simulate RTL at block and SoC levels to guarantee functionality and debug gate-level timing
• Define SoC, system, and block-level verification plans for the radio
• Perform synthesis, STA, LEC, and ATPG pattern generation
• Oversee physical design of the SoC and complete FPGA verification before tape out
• Characterize and validate circuit performance in the lab and support high-volume manufacturing transfers

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in digital design engineering
• Expertise in communication systems, DSP concepts, and wireless digital baseband design
• Proficiency in RTL design, integration, and modern wireless system digital design
• Experience with bit-level modeling and simulation for trade-off analysis
• Knowledge of synthesis, STA, LEC, and ATPG
• Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to provide direction to engineering teams
