About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead development of UEFI drivers and applications within the EDK2 framework for Intel/AMD-based server architectures
- Design and optimize Inter-Processor Communication (IPC) mechanisms like MCTP over MMBI/I2C/USB or eSPI
- Drive execution and ensure BIOS-side compliance for management and security features
- Lead triage of low-level firmware issues regarding handshakes with Intel, AMD, or Arm based CPU platforms
- Work with ODM/OEM partners to ensure compliance with ACPI, PCIe, and SMBIOS standards
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in UEFI firmware development
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ for firmware programming
- Deep understanding of x86 architecture, ACPI, PCIe, VGA, and memory management
- Experience in Host-to-BMC communication protocols and SMBIOS/ACPI table handoffs
- Expertise in hardware-anchored security including Secure Boot, TPM2.0, and NIST SP 800-193
- Hands-on experience with EDK2 firmware development
- Experience with remote debugging tools and firmware validation methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing and maintaining CRB features for Intel/AMD server platforms
- Knowledge of Redfish or MCTP/PLDM interactions within the UEFI environment
- Familiarity with UEFI-level interactions for AI servers
