About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead daily Staff Travel operations across calls, emails, and requests
- Ensure achievement of response, resolution, and quality KPIs
- Manage and develop the operations team to drive productivity and engagement
- Oversee accurate handling of duty, compassionate, and other travel requests
- Own budget accountability, cost control, and financial optimization
- Coordinate with external travel providers for non-Etihad bookings
- Monitor KPIs including volume, SLA, backlog, and productivity
- Implement improvements in workflows and operational efficiency
- Ensure adherence to staff travel policies and audit requirements
- Oversee invoice validation and reconciliation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3–5 years in a people leadership role
- 7–10 years of experience in service operations, contact centre, or shared services
- Experience in travel operations or airline staff travel preferred
- Exposure to vendor coordination and basic financial processes
