Staff Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake evaluations for students requesting mental health services
• Provide individual therapy services as assigned
• Maintain timely clinical record keeping and communication with students, parents, and stakeholders
• Facilitate referrals to campus departments, private providers, or strategic partners
• Provide consultation services to students, student organizations, faculty, and staff
• Participate in weekly case conferences, staff meetings, and assigned committees
• Plan, direct, and evaluate outreach workshops, seminars, and group therapy sessions

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, or Psychology
• Three years of mental health service experience (inclusive of practicum and internship training)
• Valid license to practice counseling or psychology in the state of Georgia

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral level therapist
• Previous experience providing mental health services in a collegiate setting
