About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide group, individual, and couples therapy to a culturally diverse college student body
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and represent CAPS at campus outreach events
  • Consult with faculty, staff, and students regarding mental health concerns
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic client records in compliance with ethical standards
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and university-wide committees
  • Adhere to APA standards, university policies, and local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements

  • Masters or Doctoral level training in a psychology-related field (e.g., clinical social work, professional counseling, MFT, or clinical psychology)
  • Current valid license to practice as an independent practitioner in California (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) or eligibility under Section 2946
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with adolescents or adults
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet University fleet rules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Titanium Schedule (EHR)
  • Demonstrated skills in culturally competent approaches and multiple therapy modalities
  • Experience in crisis intervention, consultation, and workshop facilitation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working across university departments
  • Demonstrated commitment to advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
