About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide group, individual, and couples therapy to a culturally diverse college student body
- Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and represent CAPS at campus outreach events
- Consult with faculty, staff, and students regarding mental health concerns
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic client records in compliance with ethical standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and university-wide committees
- Adhere to APA standards, university policies, and local, state, and federal regulations
Requirements
- Masters or Doctoral level training in a psychology-related field (e.g., clinical social work, professional counseling, MFT, or clinical psychology)
- Current valid license to practice as an independent practitioner in California (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) or eligibility under Section 2946
- Minimum of two years of experience working with adolescents or adults
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet University fleet rules
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Titanium Schedule (EHR)
- Demonstrated skills in culturally competent approaches and multiple therapy modalities
- Experience in crisis intervention, consultation, and workshop facilitation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working across university departments
- Demonstrated commitment to advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
