Staff Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the master delivery plan and integrated roadmap across multiple Scrum teams and shared resources (Architect, ML, SDET).
• Track and resolve complex cross-team dependencies involving Agentic Engines, Core Platforms, and backend API contracts.
• Run the engineering delivery rhythm, including sprint reviews, dependency syncs, and risk escalation forums.
• Identify, quantify, and manage delivery risks by maintaining a live risk register and driving early mitigation.
• Translate engineering status into actionable insights for Product and Executive leadership, and communicate business urgency back to engineering.
• Drive the release process by defining criteria, coordinating go/no-go decisions, and managing production deployments.
• Continuously improve the engineering delivery system by identifying bottlenecks and implementing process changes to increase throughput.

Requirements

• 12+ years of technical program management experience.
• 3+ years of Staff-level experience managing multi-team programs within SaaS or platform companies.
• Strong technical depth with the ability to read architecture diagrams, understand Kafka dependency graphs, and evaluate API contracts.
• Proven experience managing complex delivery programs with significant external and platform dependencies.
• Expertise in facilitating engineering rituals such as sprint planning, release gates, and post-mortems.
• Deep understanding of AI-native product delivery, including model versioning and non-deterministic output challenges.
• Excellent written communication skills for producing executive-ready status updates.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing delivery programs involving both Java microservices and Python AI/ML engineering teams.
• Familiarity with agentic AI platform concepts such as intent registries, MCP tools, and eval frameworks.
• Background in automotive retail technology or dealer management systems.
• Experience working within a US-India distributed engineering organization.
