Staff Technical Lead, Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing technical direction, prioritization, and mentorship.
• Act as the technical lead across hardware programs, balancing hands-on execution with strategic guidance.
• Architect, design, and validate low-power, low-noise, mixed-signal electronics in miniaturized form factors.
• Drive electrical initiatives including product performance optimization, design for manufacturing (DFM), and cost reduction.
• Partner cross-functionally with Mechanical, Firmware, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure robust system integration.
• Lead root cause investigations for field and production issues and implement validated electrical solutions.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to define test strategies and improve global production yields.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering across product development and high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong foundation in analog, digital, power systems, and mixed-signal design.
• Proven ability to deliver complex hardware at scale.
• Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring engineers and driving technical execution.
• Proficiency with ECAD tools (Altium preferred) and strong lab/debug skills.
• Strong commitment to leveraging AI tools to enhance day-to-day engineering workflows.
