Staff Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, define, and implement complex system requirements and specifications
• Lead the definition, verification, and validation of timing products
• Develop FPGA IP for emulation, in-house testing, and reference designs
• Collaborate with silicon design, software, and marketing teams to move products from definition to production
• Perform system and platform design leveraging the Skyworks Timing portfolio
• Coordinate the design of subsystems and the integration of total systems

Requirements

• MSEE in EE with 6+ years of experience or BSEE with 8+ years of experience in systems design
• Proficiency with system-level simulation tools such as MATLAB
• Experience with System Verilog, UVM, and RNM
• Experience with FPGA or ASIC digital design flows
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment including spectrum analyzers and phase noise analyzers
• Strong understanding of PLL, control theory, and EM theory

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with IEEE-1588 compliant networks
• Prior experience with PLL design and validation
• Previous experience in timing product development
