Staff SW Systems Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy for system-level modeling, virtual prototyping, and early customer enablement
• Create high-fidelity virtual platforms to enable internal software development and demonstrate SoC capabilities to customers
• Develop AI skills, tools, and environments to ease the building and adoption of virtual prototypes
• Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and serve as the escalation point for pre-silicon customer feedback
• Collaborate with customers and internal product teams to design and implement effective virtual platforms
• Bridge the gap between SoC architecture, hardware design, and software teams to ensure performance optimization

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry experience in SoC design, architecture, or system-level modeling
• Strong hands-on expertise in SystemC, TLM 2.0, and high-level modeling (C/C++)
• Expert-level C++ programming proficiency
• Proficiency in Python and scripting for modeling automation
• Deep understanding of SoC architecture, including CPU subsystems (ARM/RISC-V), bus protocols (AMBA AXI/CHI), and memory hierarchies
• Proven ability to drive technical decisions across cross-functional teams including Architecture, HW, SW, and Product Marketing
