Staff Sustaining Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Research and implement vehicle, component, and system reliability testing including HASS and Burn In testing
• Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, and design engineering to improve reliability outcomes
• Assess manufacturing changes and develop validation test plans
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines in Databricks to extract ECU fault signals and telemetry
• Develop real-time reliability modeling to predict ECU failures and track fleet trends
• Build stakeholder-facing dashboards integrating reliability models, Jira tickets, and test results
• Partner with AI integration platforms to accelerate fault diagnosis and root-cause analysis
• Maintain closed-loop integration between field reliability data and NPI teams

Requirements

• 5–10 years of reliability engineering experience, preferably in automotive electronics
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
• Hands-on experience with physics of failure and failure mode analysis for PCBAs and ECUs
• Knowledge of Weibull analysis and accelerated life testing models
• Expertise in root-cause analysis techniques such as 8D, Ishikawa, and fault tree analysis
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis
• Experience with big-data platforms like Databricks or Spark
• Experience with dashboard tools like HEX, Tableau, or Power BI
• Experience integrating AI/LLM tools into engineering workflows
