Staff Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Electrical

Responsibilities

• Manage the PCB/PCBA category to enable supplier qualification from prototype to volume production
• Partner with Product Engineering to provide design for manufacturability (DFM) feedback
• Vet supplier production capabilities, quality control, and capacity
• Oversee the bring-up of new supplier production tooling and lines
• Implement robust end-of-line (EoL) testing protocols at suppliers
• Manage supplier risk and drive quality development through design reviews and testing
• Lead root cause task forces and own Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) at suppliers
• Drive overall supplier performance regarding cost, quality, and on-time delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization in a manufacturing environment
• Technical expertise in PCB/PCBA manufacturing, SMT processing, CAD, and GD&T
• Working knowledge of FMEA, APQP, and PPAP (including MSA)
• Ability to travel to supplier sites for evaluation, qualification, and audits
• Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee due to export control regulations
