Staff Specialist Operation Planner

Responsibilities

• Submit loading demand to suppliers and secure commitments
• Confirm demand (backlog and forecast) with Business Units and Sales teams
• Verify availability of direct and indirect materials with relevant departments
• Manage capacity at Back End (BE) subcon factories
• Coordinate the timely launch and start of products
• Provide clear instructions to BE subcon factories for WIP control
• Manage finished goods output and subcon supplier priorities
• Monitor subcon performance using KPIs such as Cycle Time, On-Time Delivery, and WIP accuracy
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the factory

Requirements

• Native-level Japanese language skills
• English proficiency with a TOEIC score of 650 or higher
• 2+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing control
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); VBA knowledge is a plus
• Strong logical thinking skills based on factual data
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the semiconductor industry
• Knowledge of semiconductor back-end processes
• Experience working or studying abroad
