Staff Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build new products and improve existing ones by writing reliable, scalable, and efficient code
• Design and build end-to-end systems and launch-plan strategies to solve complex problems at scale
• Collaborate with product engineering and cross-functional partners to meet business needs and influence product roadmaps
• Use technical expertise to deliver high-quality partner integrations and manage long-term strategic plans
• Identify product usage insights through metrics to increase adoption and address partner needs
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
• Utilize AI tools and high-velocity engineering workflows to design and ship scalable services

Requirements

• BS in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience
• 9+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development or solutions engineer experience (or equivalent with advanced degrees)
• Experience coding and building applications and APIs/SDKs for internal and external developers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with open source technologies and develop productive partner relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in computer science or computer engineering
• High proficiency in JavaScript (and/or TypeScript), HTML, and CSS
• High proficiency in Java, Golang, NodeJs, and/or Python
• Experience developing front-end software using JavaScript UI Frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
• Experience working with large SaaS, PaaS, and cloud platforms
• Experience defining business requirements and product roadmaps with cross-functional stakeholders
