Staff Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with customers to define solution scope, architecture, and execution plans for edge AI and infrastructure.
• Create solution blueprints integrating edge compute, AI workloads, and connectivity, including feasibility assessments.
• Build reusable technical assets such as reference architectures, demo scripts, and integration patterns to accelerate field execution.
• Support the sales cycle by leading technical workshops, architecture reviews, and stakeholder presentations.
• Design, build, and lead end-to-end demos and pilots, managing environment setup and performance validation.
• Drive the transition from pilot to production by defining deployment prerequisites like security, monitoring, and lifecycle operations.
• Act as the technical escalation point during early deployments to resolve issues and maintain customer confidence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in customer-facing engineering, solutions engineering, or technical business development.
• Proven expertise in building and supporting AI embedded/edge deployments.
• Strong experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, including deploying workloads on edge devices.
• Hands-on experience optimizing inference on hardware accelerators (CPU/GPU/ASIC/NPU).
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python, including debugging and performance analysis.
• Deep understanding of Linux-based systems, low-level software, and drivers.
• Experience with container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of edge/IoT solution stacks and system-level performance bottlenecks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience enabling or supporting solutions on Qualcomm SoC-based systems (Snapdragon-class platforms).
• Familiarity with Qualcomm accelerated inference platforms (e.g., AI100).
• Understanding of wireless connectivity technologies and their integration into edge deployments.
